Laurence,

Found the same site on eBay and have some M6-AN3 M-M adapters coming to me. I think this is going to work on my '89 Targa G50/01 box. Now if Ed will produce the similar kit for the G96 box in an '01 Cup, I will be able to bleed both cars standing up in back!

Guys, we are close on releasing this product. The fittings are in, the hoses will be in next week. Need the hose in hand to determine what kind of bracket we are going to add to hold the bulkhead side of the hose.

Thanks

Ed

Yes, I did not say, but we are making them with the correct thread for the street cars and the cup cars. They are different, but we will carry both.

Thanks

The kit is finally finished. We just completed adding two different mounting options. Both mounting tabs come with the kit. The street kit fits most all street cars.

Thanks

OK, so now I have everything together to offer all 3 sizes of the adapters, so now even the street guys can get in on the action. Everything is listed in the website by model so you can see which size to order.

Thanks

Ed

Ed,

Will call next week to see about some custom lines for the kit. I want to add Staubli quick disconnects on the clutch feed line and the bleeder line so I can simply pull the engine/transmission down on my '89 911 without having to disconnect the feed/bleeder lines - just disconnect the Staubli's and preserve my bleed on the clutch slave!

Default Issues?

Jumped on the Demon Speed parts and had it installed when the clutch was out (replaced disc, pressure plate, release bearing and fork after an ear on the release bearing broke off and we had uneven wear on the fork).

The extension runs to the engine compartment and works great, except that we are having issues bleeding it as best we can tell. Running at Summit Point we had a soft clutch pedal that eventually in the 90-minute enduro became a clutch pedal to the floor (had to lift with my toe). All this after several bleedings. Could our run be too long and there is give in the extension line? Could we STILL have a bubble somewhere? Might it be something unrelated to the extension and an issue with the clutch installation? We bled with the pump technique and will also try a pressure bleeder later. Fluid is SRF.

All suggestions welcome. Car is done for the season but we want to figure this out.

In my experience the clutch must be bled with a pressure bleeder not by just pumping the pedal.

Going back to this old post. I purchased the Demonspeed product but I have a few questions. Can the extension be installed with the motor and transmission in the car? Does anyone have a pictures of the final installation for ideas?
