If it is 02 or later, you can get a CAN signal out of the 5 pin Autosport pigtail out of the ECU located within 8" of the ECU. If it is earlier you can probably tap into the tach wire. The earlier Porsches used a black with purple tracer wire for the tach signal. I'm not familiar with the Trackmate install, I'm assuming it han handle the signal directly.

Can't use the CAN signal for the tach feed to the Traqmate. No "translation" of multiplexed signals.

The signal lead to the tachometer will work fine. I don't have a diagram to get the color code, but that wil work fine to the blue TraqTach lead or the TraqSync pigtail. Make sure you set the car information on the Traqmate Classic Display or Traqdash to "6" cylinder.

Green with purple trace or vice versa going into the middle plug in the back of the dash... its the only wire aroudn with that colour combo... easiest place to pick it out of is at the plug at the instrument cluster.... or if you cant find it let me know and will send wiring diagram with ecu pin out..

I have quite a few that run both.

Can't do a video TBL, or any synchronized video (actually, with 2.52.00, you can manually sync video now) in AiM...

Can't get CAN or do math channels with Traqmate...

Plus, a lot of folks have legacy data that they want to compare.

Based a GT3 MY04 diagram the VT/GR "TN-signal" wire should also be located in the black X2/3 connector behind the driver's seat (a little easier to get to). However, in my MY03 Cup car the only VT/GR wire I can find is actually in the adjacent white X2/4 connector. I that still the correct wire? Did they ever swap the black and white X2/3 and X2/4 connectors? (They both are identical 30 pin connectors.)
