Where are you finding them for $1,000/pair?

Does anyone know of a shop that can rebuild/repack axles?

"I've seen the blacks w/o Krytox/Neo blow grease from the heat...that's what seems to happen"

Me too, same thing. Repacked with NEO or KRYTOX and no leaking

Amen brother! I just bought a set for my '01 Cup. They are closer to $1000 PER AXLE! And these are the street axles for a 996 Turbo. Blue axles (GKN Motorsport/PMNA) are closer to $1500 or more per axle! And no, you cannot buy GKN Motorsport axles from anyone other than PMNA. Don't ask how I know....

If you have a source that is selling them for $1000 a pair, please let us know. You can bet there will be a RUN on Black street axles!

No, you want GL217 for the higher temps. See attachment.

These are supposed to be very good.

I'm considering them for my little car also. Sourcing really good bearings is another issue though...

You can download a copy of the warranty from the EVOMS website. It says that if you're not racing, they're covered. I called Gabe at EVOMS and he confirmed it. Since I'm only running DE, this looks like the way to go for me. So I'll keep my blue axles as spares to use if I have trouble and I'm waiting for EVOMS for replacement

Past that, if you're racing or doing time trials, you're not covered but you're using axles that A) are holding up with 1400 HP engines, and B) someone is willing to warranty under those conditions. For the price, even if I were racing, I think I'd go this route.

I was about to pull the trigger on the EVOMS but I am getting black axles for $1100 (for the pair). If the EVOMS were twice the price, I'd buy'em but at 3 times the price, it's blacks for me.

You're not rude at all.

I don't know where my shop is getting them from but I can find out. Apparently the axles are made by someone for Porsche (like Pagid makes pads for Porsche) and these axles are from that supplier.

If you want more info, let me know and I'll get and pass along.
