Sweet engine for sure, but you may want to avoid the carbon clutch.

Why would you want to avoid the carbon/carbon clutch? I have had one in my race car for 3 or 4 years and have just now needed to go to the next size pressure plate due to wear.

To make this a little easier for some type of engine swap I also have a Bosch MS 4.0 that was programmed at PMNA for this engine and a engine and chassis wiring harness built by Sakata Motorsport that was being used to run this engine. At for just a little more money I would be willing the include all of that and the Motec SDL3 Dash which would really make this project simple. I did get some pictures up on the website of the engine. Orbitracing.com , race cars for sale. Let me know if you have any questions.

I cannot speak to your personal set up, but my car came with a carbon clutch when I purchased it from K-Pax. Great set up, but it's expensive to replace, and unless you're really a pro driver, is it worth having?

Carbon clutch is an on/off switch. You can't slip it, so I think the concerns come from using the clutch on the street. I think a 4.0 or 4.25 street variocam engine would be way more enjoyable for that use, anyways.

Now, for a racecar...this is the holy grail.

My car had a World Challenge 3.6 liter when I bought it, which would not idle. So maybe the carbon clutch took more abuse than it might have with a different set up. I think the 3R guys told me they replaced the clutch before every race.
