I've got data on 09's with the orbitz "manley" blipper and the PMNA blipper. I've not seem the drops on the full throttle up shifts. Maybe the shifter isn't set up right.

I have data on my '10 with PMNA blipper and it does show a very modest drop in throttle just after up shifts... i think it is the physical mechanism vibrating... it is unnoticeable and not material at all... maybe 1-2% max for a micro-second.

Thumbs up

Just finished the install yesterday. Pretty straight forward. A few things to note:

remember that the shifter cable thread is a left hand thread,
I struggled with the shifter cable to pedal routing due to a radio install,
the noted 6% initial throttle setting seems odd, although I understand their logic (idles above 2k)
Be careful removing the wire clip that prevents the cable socket from separating from the ball on the pedal, mine launched into the atmosphere never to be seen again.....

Now I will have to retrain myself to not roll my right foot on downshift!

Can anyone upload the installation-manual please?

Have the Manthey-version in the 2008 and would propably go for the Porsche-Motorsport one in the new 2011...

Thank you!

I will be at Thunderhill again in March and April with NCRC. May also take the Z06 if it's track ready. Walls are just too damn close at infineon lol. Hey, I saw your friend's S2000 at Driving ambition. That's one monster for sure

Me too.

A PMNA tech told me that, in his opinion, the Manthey unit was superior to the Porsche blipper. Now I'm not so sure.

I am not sure if the manthey design is better but it is WAY over priced for a stick that push the gas pedal. Few potential draw back I can see with the Porsche design is that dirt may get between cable and roller and the cable may be stretched over time. Will check throttle tension from time to time.

Thank you for the DIY! That already helped a lot!

Can you please also Scan the Porsche Motorsport-documents you got with the blipper? Would be nice!

If you ever need something from Germany (Beer, Sauerkraut, Someone who ships Porsche-Parts, etc.) don't hesitate to ask

Greetings

Blippers are for girls. Here's throttle/brake pressure traces from my best lap on friday:
