Just found out my rear CV boot - the one closest to the tranny case went bust and spray all kinds of nice black stuff. Does anyone know if PMNA make a replacement boot ... or do I need to change out the whole drive shaft?
Just got off the phone with PMNA ... no replacement boot and each drive shaft cost $2900!!?? WTF ... there gotta be an easy way to replace it. Off to walmart
The most important part is re-packing the CV joint with the correct grease. I believe it's Krytox or something similar. I'm sure someone will correct my spelling shortly. Regardless, great save on finding the cracked boot now make sure you save the CV joint...

Yup JR. Found the crack boot yesterday and had to canacel track event today. CV boot inbound next week. Will get it fixed by driving ambition
Not sure the street GT3 has the same size shaft diameter. That boot might not fit the cup axle. I'm pretty sure the 993,993 turbo,964 boot is the same as the cup. Probably should cross reference some part numbers to make sure you are getting the right boot.
Part number 928 332 293 02 is the boot only - not a kit. We use two different versions of Krytox grease, 215 for "normal" applications and 217 - which is what is in the blue cup axles. 217 is unmistakable, in that it is very thick and tough to clean up.
