Ah but the cup has analog gas, not digital

I'll be tweaking it at the PCA Atlanta race and maybe have Andrew Davis help set up the new suspension and he'll be good to adjust the blipper too.

Mike what car are you bringing to Atlanta?

Are you hiring Andrew for the whole weekend. I need a coach and was thinking of asking him.

Thx

Chris,

My GTC4 car is pending sale, will be taking the GTA2 car again.

I don't need Andrew full time, splitting him would be great especially if we can paddock nearby. I will need him a LOT on thurs for car setup (new shocks, springs, tire sizes), I think you might need him more later on when you get some fast laps to analyze?

Email me and I'll call him and see what we can do.

We tried a blipper on my 08 cup car a couple of weeks ago. It was my first time in the car. It was certainly not very sweet at high rev downshifts despite some adjustments during the day.

We have now taken it back off the car as we are not allowed to run it in GT3 Cup Challenge in the UK.

Guess I just better make a decent job of healing and toeing from now on

Hi Mike,
Sorry for delay in answering.

So far, it has not been a problem to engage reverse. Trans is due for rebuild and will see what/if anything looks worn w/reverse gears.

any update on this guys? I fitted a blipper - 35% throttle - but while it works well on the 997s, on the 996 the rev seems too slow so as the shift is so quick (with sqs) the engine doesn't have time to repsond to the gearshift movement, unless you hold it another .5s ... which is slow.

Any ideas/experience to share? thanks,
Matt
