Hey Peter.....good to hear from you again today, I will follow up with Rich tomorrow and look forward to seeing you mix it up in Patron in March.

Glen, looking forward to meeting you in person as well and Patron will be strong this year......should be fun.....take it easy on my guys!

Fleadh, there are so many factors that play into pricing for a full year in Patron and that range is in the $15k - $25K depending on the support. We tend to lean more towards the full service, full support, high level data and coaching, arrive and drive program where the client owns the car. This seems to work best for us.

Cheers,

James

Looks like it's going to be a very FAST series this year, with a few cars into the 2.06's at Sebring testing.

Default Patron Pricing Options

I can vouch for GMG and their opinions, I am running the season with them in a 2011 car (just ran the PCA 48 with them in my 07 car). I explored many options when considering this series, its easy to try to cut costs here and there and think you can show up in a small coach and trailer and mechanic... I now realize that isn't ideal for this series although I was hoping I could do that.

There are many costs involved including entry fees (2-3k/race not including montreal), tires (6k/race), support (15k-25k per race), personal travel (2-5k/race), car costs any ongoing maint or fixes of the car (I estimate 15k/race with car depreciation and required maint). It isn't a cheap hobby and if you want to race at this level, I think you should do what it takes to make this fun for you (instead of feeling like a job). Good luck and hope to see all of you out there!

Congrats to Glen G. who ran a fabulous race in the "older" cup class, moving up about 10 positions. He passed Daytona 24 winner Mike Levitas just before the end of the race, after pushing HARD for several laps to catch him, and finished 2nd in the Gold class.

A bunch of other Rennlisters did very well too.

Seems like the tires were VERY consistent (though not very fast after
qualifying) as times at the end of the race were as good as the early laps.

I met Levitas and had a lovely conversation with him about Race 1. Great guy to speak with.

Sebring is such an awesome place!
