Default Michelin Blues

I have decided to sell my 996 Cup and I have four Michelin Blue rears available if anyone is interested. The Blue fronts are still available from Michelin and will be for a long time, but the rears are going away and are being replaced by the Greens. If you want to stay with a matched set this would be a good chance (all this info is from Michelin).

I would take them, depending on price, if you weren't in CA, or had plans to be at either the Mosport or Road America PCA club races.

The same price I paid - $500. You can no longer buy these tires - in fact it will be several weeks before you can buy any Michelin rear tire and then it will be the more expensive green. The green fronts are not coming to the US, so you will have to run green rears and blue fronts. With these tires you can run a less expensive matched set.

David,
I might have a new set of blues I could bring to Mosport if you are interested. I'll know later today.

I don't think there are any green fronts are there? The Carrera Cup cars in Europe are running Blue fronts and Green rears this year.

I said I'd be interested if you were bringing them to Mosport or Road America. Then you PM'd me to say you might be coming to RA. Then I PM'd you back asking for confirmation on the model #s of the tires. That's the last I heard.

The model number is Michelin Blue rears. They only make one size, kind, model of Blues for the rear.

OK...just spoke to Eric at JD. You are right that the Blues are no longer available. However the Greens ARE available now at $495 for the rear. Green fronts are not yet available. He has lots of the rear Greens.

He will not be at Mosport, so I will need Blues for Mosport. If anyone has those and can bring 'em there, I'll take 'em.

For Road America, they ARE going, and I'll buy the Greens for that.

If anyone wants the product code for the Green rears, it's 36446.
