Yeah, you gotta love RL! Unfortunately, it WAS too short a notice for Pat, as he called me to let me know. No hard feelings on either side. Looking forward to meeting more of you guys at VIR in a few weeks. Another first time...

Mike-

The car likes more camber than the IMSA spec for sure but it doesn't hold up for too long. Also, it likes the nose lower than the IMSA spec allows.

Guys...where are you?? We need more GTC4 cars if I'm giving away some decent $$$ wine! Where's Piera, Einstein, Carlyle, etc?? We can't let Pat take the wine in a cake-walk!

What I will add is that Mosport is probably the most polarizing track in NA. Most drivers say things like, 'There are my favorite tracks and there there is Mosport!' It really is that cool.

Oh, as for the polarizing part - some drivers hate it because it is hair raising. Take T4 for instance: It is steep downhill and off camber on entry and steep uphill on exit. In a Cup car you enter in fifth gear, slide the car down the hill and get caught by the exit!

I am missing my home track Club Race to go!

I can see why it's polarizing, I may be one of those that hate it due to T2 and T4 having no margin for error or a slippery track, or runoff room. T1 is tough too, I have seen some BIG crashes when people use a little of the runoff room on track out then spin across the track to destruction on the wall on the right side.

My cup is still in the body shop from VIR and my '73 blew a clutch at LRP last week so $ is tight, so I think I will skip Mosport and get ready for NJMP.

Sorry guys!

Ahhh....com'on Mike! you wanna trade off Mosport for NJMP? C$ is down to 86c too! Think of all the Labatt 50 you could buy! Seriously though, what bodywork do you need? I thought it was just the front bumper and a new rad?

Mike Mosport has added some asphalt in some critical area's. I don't recall all the locations but I do remember extra asphalt on the outside of the T10 track out turtles(wider), extension of the T2 track out turtles(longer not wider). I hope David or other drivers can add the other areas. Come get better/faster at our very challenging track.

I so wish I could! But dates just don't work for me. First 2 weeks of August is always busiest time of year for me with work.
You guys will have fun!
Next race for me is Road America.

Go get 'em Darrell!

The exhange rate may be decent, but last year I spend something over $1000 on race gas there, and I didn't even run on Sunday! Total ripoff.
