You should try to find "take-offs" in your area. Are there any IMSA Cup racers nearby? In So Cal we're lucky to have multiple sources of good take-offs (1-3 HC's) and many of us run them exclusively. We pay $350-400 per set which sure beats the hell out of spending close to $2k for practice tires...

Yeah, I was going to post something on that today too...Carrera Cup GB cars are using the same tire combo...Blues front and Greens rear....I might get a set of greens sent over to try them out.

How many sets would you be good for, Luis?
I think that if we can get an order for ~50 sets we can import them economically via container. I have already discussed this with a team that would be willing to assist.

I was quoted GBP1k/set in the UK for these on 2 sets, so I bet we can do better on 50 sets. Container would cost about GBP2k from the UK, + insurance (if it sinks). Then whatever taxes Uncle Sam charges. Shouldn't be that much. Let me know if you want me to look into the UK option, if someone else is checking on the Euro (germany or france) option.

I would probably be better off paying Pat for driving lessons than buying new slicks.
I bet I know at least 2 other guys that would want at least 2 sets each.
I can contact them and find out. Let me know cost and logistics.
Picking up at The Glen would work for me and probably the 2 other guys if they are in.
