997 CUPS AND ABS?
do all 997 cups lack ABS?

The 997 Cup as delivered from Porsche does not have ABS.

yes you can but not very cost effective. I looked into it when we got our 997 and expect to pay 5-8k for a good system and then install it.

It's not too uncommon for endurance races, if regulation allows it of course..

In PCA, no, you cannot install ABS and remain in GTC4.

It's much better without the ABS, I love the 997 brakes and did not like the 996 except maybe in the wet. But I ran the 997 in the wet on slicks at Mid Ohio and it was not too bad.

Yes, street ABS that didn't work with slicks or the new brakes. I drove it without but I prefer to have ABS so I added the Porsche Motorsports unit.
