Reviving this old thread as its not easy to find someone to rebuild Sachs dampers and there is some good info on this forum.

I just spoke to David and unfortunately he no longer rebuilds Sachs dampers which was a bummer as he comes so highly recommended. He did kindly give me an email address for ZF, so I sent of a request and will provide more details if it pans out.

Please respond to this thread if there are any other companies rebuilding these dampers. 🙏

NRT-Sales-ZRNA@zf.com

ZF race responded the same day to my enquiry and my dampers are already on the way to their Michigan facility.

I attached the forms that you need to fill out and send to them before sending your dampers, also the initial response and pricing for my dampers

------

Thank you for contacting ZF Race Engineering regarding your 997 GT3 Cup dampers. The cost to rebuild these dampers is $235 per damper. A standard rebuild includes pre-rebuild and post-rebuild performance dyno tests as well as the replacement of all normal wear items (oil, seals, shims, orings, etc.). The replacement of any additional hardware items found damaged during our inspection will incur an extra expense. Once we have a chance to inspection your dampers, we will send you a detailed quote before starting any work.
