Default 996 Cup For Sale

It is a 1999 GT3 SuperCup 996 Model of course.

It has only 10723 KM on it, never wrecked. Fresh brakes, wheel bearings, clutch, gearbox, rebuilt shocks, tie rod ends etc...ready to go. It is stock, very pretty and very quick. It won its last 2 races in GTC3, most recent at Watkins Glen PCA. It has no leaks, doesnt use oil etc...blah blah blah. It is now eligible to run in HSR, NASA, SCCA and PCA. Car also includes a radio harness. Very nice clean, quick car, that is stock!

Asking 68,000 USD$ for it.

No need to race anything less safe or less reliable!

Please PM with questions or email at porschenut@hotmail.com

how many hours is 11km ?. What's the difference between a Supercup and a regular cup car. How expensive are the parts consumable and non consumables compared to a newer Cup car. Wanna trade for a 930S

I'm no expert, but a good place to start looking for answers is this really informative Cup Car thread. I've been researching these cars for a year now in anticipation of a purchase this winter, there's a lot to know before you jump.... Good Luck!

Glen- Any shots of the car from the outside front and sides? How long have you had this car? Thanks!

Thanks for the link, that was very informative. Looks like Supercup and "regular cup" are the same.

Sort of... only difference in the past was where the car originally raced. If it raced in the Supercup Series alongside the F1 races you could say it was a supercup. When the 997 came out in 2005, the "supercup" 997 cup cars actually were different - they came with carbon brakes while 997 cup cars for other cup series had and still have steel brakes.

Good, so it's settled. I've gotten a few pm's stating how reputable Glen is (I had drawn that conclusion myself from reading the posts), so all I need now is for Glen to give me a $40-45K trade-in value for my 1985 930S with 424 RWHP and Ruf 5 Speed, and we are on our way

Find out about the tracks usually driven, then take average speed of that car at those tracks and divide KM by the averge speed.

Example:
If average speed is 85mph, then 85mph = ~136kph, then,
11,000k / 136kph = ~80 hours.

btw, there's really no reason to convert to cable shift, if all mechanical rods are in good operating condition.
