If you're thinking of changing your drop links, consider this: Last year I worked on a 997 GT3 cup car. It had been modified from stock by a different team before the owner brought the car to us. These links were such a bad design that they cause some serious driving problems that was very difficult to identify. During alignment I noticed that as the wheels were turned, the drop links added a significant load on the sway bar. This occured because the drop links were short and connected to the upright in a poor location (back side of a bolt). The upright rotates during a turn, thus moving the upper end of the drop link. One side shortened and the other side lengthened. The message here is: you need to take a close look at the front drop link design to study the movement of the top connection as the wheel moves. Left and right should change in a similar manner.
