Haha, there are lots of bmw's to race against, but even better are the series where you can race against several different cars (like GTS).

Are the operating costs about the same for the 03 and 05 cup cars? Other than normal consumables (pads, rotors, tires, etc) is there anything else thats commonly "consumed" during say a 10 race season?

Yea...I've seen how Porsches are forced to pass the fast BMW's lol

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xKfGokraAc

No doubt the cup cars when setup and driven well will obviously destroy the common BMW MOD cars, but with the new turbo trend, 500+hp is going to be common, at 2450lbs, it'll just need a good driver to overcome the super quick cup cars. Definitely is making for some good racing!

I'll take either one...I would defintiely have did up a cup car, but they come built already...thats the fun part to me. So I decided to design an e46 ground up.

ANYWAYS back on topic, lets get this car sold for Scott so he can get the 03 out on track dicing it up with everyone.

Any bites yet?

It looks like about a dozen decent gt3 cup cars were just put up for sale around the country... I don't see anything as clean as yours thats as new though.

Couple interested parties, but haven't sealed the deal yet. I am anxious to move the car, but not wholesale it. $125k is a great price for this '05 Cup especially when you consider all of the modifications added ($10k+ Motec, $4k+ fuel cell, Tilton clutch, $1.5k camera system, etc.). This car was built to win races.

Finally had a chance to create a photo website...

(Yes, I know wing endplate is missing. Friend borrowed my race garage for a DE and broke it when he stepped back. Freshly painted one will be installed soon.)

Congrats.

So did you decide to stay with the other cup car and find a BMW to play with?

Interesting to note, today during the BMWCCA Enduro at Roebling, a couple cars are within 4 seconds of Cory Friedman's (997 gt3) fastest lap from the PCA event last week...not bad for something 1/3 the price

Andy/Bryan Watts. They ran 1:13.239 today! Very impressed. This was the car I was part of the design/engineering of back at RRT. Since we first built it in 2005, they made some tubular front control arms and a new motor (S54 m3 motor), other than that its just a lot of setup time, skidpad testing, shockdynoing, etc..
