Default Cleaning Lexan

How does one clean a Lexan windshield without marring the Lexan? Particularly cleaning off rubber.

I found that thoroughly covering the window with window cleaner and wiping it clean with a silicone squeegee worked well and did not mark the lexan.

I have found the best product for cleaning the Lexan windows with out scratching is Plexus Plastic Cleaner and microfiber cloth. It actually polishes the plastic. http://www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/about.html

^ Agreed with DRC. I had a custom lexan bonnet made for my 360CS and the company that deals with custom Lexan windows exclusively told me to use nothing but Plexus and a soft microfiber (same grade that you'd use on your Paint, not the cheap 50-for-$20 costco pack). Worked perfectly.

+1 for Plexus. I use these ultra soft waffle weave towels from the rag company. Unless the window is hardcoated it will scratch no matter what you use. I recently fitted a new rear window to my 996 cup from plastics4performance and am very glad I paid extra for the hard coat.

Plexus works nice and we have found one product that cleans rubber and provides shine on all surfaces including plexi , glass paint and wrap: Motul /Wash/ Wax https://www.motul.com/de/en/products/e9-wash-wax-spray

How do you apply the Plexus ?

We have restored several old and 'bleached out' 996 Cup windows, to new looking, simply with a polish machine and a fine polish paste
result is very quickly made

I will attest to hardcoating being well worth whatever they charge. A little Dawn and water and it’s clean and scratch free for +2 years. The difference is really remarkable.
