Hello, I'm actively looking for a 996 Cup.
2004 or 2005. Please let me know if you have anyone selling one of these cars.
Thanks in advance Bill

I will be listing my car for sale soon. It's a clean 2002 that has been updated. I also have a 2004 available that we are rebuilding after a front hit (new front clip).

If any are of interest, please send me an email al@gocpt.com

assuming you want a stock one? If not I have 2 very unique, very fast ones.
Currently restoring an 02 farnbacher 996 also.

Just fyi 03 models are identical to the 04,05 models with the exception of one cage bar and pit speed limiter, you may want to include that in your search. Heres a piece i wrote on the differences several years back...

When I was looking for mine, I spoke with Bill Rutdner, he gave me the 411 on Scott Stapleton's car, which is a 996, w/'05 updates, IIRC......Bill can fill you in, if you want more info?!

Also, as I had looked at another car at Deman, an RL'er contacted me about that car....long story short, he has a buddy, that has a 996 cup, motor was removed and sent to Germany for a refresh and re-installed, car is "pristine" and sitting in this person's garage in New Jersey, quietly offered for sale...it was a August, if interested, drop me a note and I'll see if I can find the RL'er's info so you can get more info.....GL
