2008 Cayenne GTS rotors and pads pkg
I will have to replace rotors and pads soon for my 2008 Cayenne GTS. Wanted to get your opinion: should I go with stock OME pads and rotors? Or are there better package out there.
Thanks

I initially bought slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads....they were truly scary and almost caused multiple accidents due to the lack of stopping power. I changed to EBC redstuff pads and night and day difference. MUCH better stopping power and still less dust than stock....I definitely recommend them.

I have 20% left on my pads my mechanic stated. Isn't there a sensor for pad wear?

The Cayenne is pretty foolproof in that respect

Would anyone know the minimum thickness of the rotors before replacement? I have 2009 GTS.
On my Lexus ISF the rotors are 30mm thick (new) and need to be replaced when get to 28mm thick.
Wondering if 2mm shaved off goes for all the big brake setups.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

- Racingbrake 350mm two-piece front rotors
- EBC red stuff front & rear brake pads
- ECS exact fit front & rear stainless steel brake lines
I find these ^^^^ to be an upgrade to the stock setup.
I will post the feedback after the brake job is complete.

from the ISF forum, the only disappointment is that rear rotors (unlike for the ISF) are not offered by Racingbrake. When my ISF needs new rotors I will get all four corners for sure.
EBC red stuff pads look awesome with the red calipers. They suppose to be low dust. I will report back on that. So far so good. Great stopping power. Don't forget to order the wear sensors!!
Brake lines were a pita to install in the front, rear was easy.
