Twin Turbo Motor
hello group, I haven't posted in ages but just wanted to share my recent progress. I had originaly built my motor with a supercharger, but for numerous reasons, decided to convert to twin turbo. I finaly got it done, here it is.

Thanks you two. I will be updating my website pretty soon with lots more pics. I've been spending all my time getting it done.

Mark - alot of lurkers on the boards these days.
I remember the short ride you gave me with the supercharged motor while I was on business in San Diego - it was a beast then! Any idea of HP/TQ specs on the new setup?

Hi Mark:
As Mike in Atlanta said, lots of lurkers,...
Its very pretty; nice attention to detail. I'd surely suggest that the flex tubes connecting the inlets of the turbos to the aircleaners be replaced with solid tubing.
It will suck them shut immediately. BTDT, about 24 years ago on the 935,..... Even reinforced silicone hose doesn't work except to connect aluminum tubing.

Thanks guys.
Mike, I remember you. Let me know when you are out this way again. It should be stupid fast now <eg>
Steve, the hose I am using is the SCAT from Aircraft Spruce with some pretty hefty spring steel support. Will this stuff collapse too? It would be pretty simple to replace them with tubing. I'm wondering is there is any way to measure/see if they collapse?

Mark:
I'd be pleased to make you a substantial wager that it will collapse.
I've been down that path SO many times. I've even seen high-end silicone, steel reinforced hoses get sucked shut.
Do this right and use aluminum tubing. Use very short sections of silicone hose to join the tubing where necessary and double clamp everything.
