That is one FINE looking, bad-*** machine! Thanks for sharing the info and the pics of your car. I bet most all p-cars dream of being that when they grow up. I've seen a few RUFs with the roof rain-gutter delete option -- looks very smooth. Any thought of doing that?

Scott,
thanks for the compliments. If I was in Ruf Germany I would have them do it for me as it's not just shaving it off, theres more to it. That rain gutter helps the rigidity of the car so when Ruf in Germany shaves it off, they install something in the roof itself to keep the car rigid which Ruf Singapore does not have the experience, so I just decided to let it be.

Sameer,
awesomer car! Just out of curiosity, how much does the conversion cost you? What make you decide to go for BTR conversion vs RCT Evo? Is people in RUF automobile in singapore competent to do the job. checked with them recently on RCT Evo, they do'nt seem interested to do RUF's business.

alkudsi,
The conversion including restoration and mods costed me abt US$80k. I paid US$70k for the car. The BTR is a conversion for the 930 and the RCT for the 964. Hence I did the BTR conversion. The gy that rebuilt my engine was trained at Ruf Germany and Porsche Germany. He has rebuilt 934,935 and 962 engines and is very meticulous in his work which you can see from my car. He's slow but worth the wait. Ruf Germany shld be interested in the RCT conversion, they still are with the BTR. I'm surprised to hear that.
Anyway my 1980 911 ruf btr right hand drive car is up for sale, asking US$70k negotiable.
Any interest:
