I also have a Porsche Exclusive "Thicker Leather Steering wheel" available for sale. It was a $965 upgrade on top of the Multi Function surcharge. The steering total upgrade from the factory came to $1,580.

$800 USD + SHIPPING

I asked BBI to send me a picture of the PCM 3.0 unit removed from the vehicle.

This is what they sent.

Best,

Do you think it would plug-n-play in a 2003 996? (W/Bose).....

^ Most likely as much "plug-n-play" as upgrading a PCM 2.0 in a 997 to 3.0. I think you woul dbe the first person to put a 3.0 in to a 996!!!!

Only one way to find out.... I say go for it!!!

If you have a numeric key pad to the left of your user interface screen you have a 2.0 or 2.1. See pictured below:

If it looks like this you have a 3.0:

I believe you'll want a dealer to check your VIN so you can get the right part number. There were several based on whether you have Bose, SiriusXM, multi-function steering wheel and other configurations.
