The finish on the wheel is black anodized. Its not a painted finish. Due to track use and exposure to heat from the brakes, the black anodized finished has turned a slight purple hue. The purple colour is only visible under bright light but under dim light, it still looks black. If youre going to use this as track rims, you don't have to be concerned. The wheels are perfectly round and true. No air leaks at all, I had the wheels recently resealed (4 months ago) when one of them started to leak air from the seal.

wont be as driver focussed as a GT3 but should still be an awesome car.

Montreal please list all the wheel details and issues as you said you would. I recently bought them and return them do to some issues and lack of agreement on getting a wheel 100%. I'm sorry to be that guy but I wish I knew the details before I bought them and before I lost 100 bucks for shipping them back.

I am having the hardware on the wheels replaced as we speak. And will disclose all issues to anyone who is actually interested. I have lowered the price of the wheel as well after knowing about the issue. Sorry but I didn't even notice that flaw until you pointed it out, it's pretty hard to notice until you take a really up close look at the wheel.
