If someone can confirm this will work in the 991.1 gen with the 7 speed manual trans I would appreciate it.
Hi, we have two 9x1.1 gens (991.1 & 981.1), both with MT & Sport Chrono (WITH the rev match) and I think ctsyles brings up some great points above - this seems like a great product but does NOT work the same as the factory rev match (not that the seller/manufacturer claimed that - and which, as cstyles pointed out, is gear specific and independent of clutch/brake). You CAN technically disable rev match in Sport Plus by turning off traction control (not that I would advise that) but I actually REALLY like it. Simply bringing up that if you were looking for OEM-like integration, this isn’t it (but a great alternative, IMO). Good luck!

Partial or halfway clutch in does not instigate the blip.

Same for mine. I believe it is due to fully depressing the clutch all the way down during the calibration phase.

I depressed the clutch all the way down during calibration. It blips the instant you so much as look at the clutch pedal. It's likely the difference between the top and bottom switch connections.

Right, the installation option they give of either connecting to the "clutch in" or "clutch out" wires.

If that's the case, I'm glad I chose the lower clutch wire option. It would annoy me if it did it every time I went to push the clutch in after brake.

Tested the product on track.. and as others have described it works exactly as advertised and is a really great functional product.

Interested if anyone has tried to modify the dials to create more resistance? They turn really easily so I fear the slightest touch can change either the timing or velocity of the blip.. which could be nasty on track at speed.

Finally got some time this weekend to install.
It works as described, Install is a pain getting under the dash. The brake wire tap was the worst!
Where are you guys setting the dials?

Congrats. Hope you like it. For delay, I have mine set at about the 9:00 position. I also have mine wired to the bottom part of the clutch wiring so it doesn't blip as soon as I push in the clutch pedal. For duration, I have it cranked up to the 1 or 2:00 position. Given my engine is built to rev higher, I don't mind.

I set mine up at the clutch bottom position as well, I also had an extra wire tap and I put it on the clutch top wire position in order to have the option to switch it around. I set it at 12 1nd 12 as a baseline, will go from there as I run a lwfw.

So both recent installs with low clutch position... Did you use hot or switched power feed?

My auto-blip is sitting on a shelf waiting for me to get around to installing it!

Normal switch power feed. Turns off and on when you crank the car. All calibration settings are saved.

This is hilarious ! I got a lot of S*&T for this device way back when. We installed this in a converted 997 TT race car over 5yrs ago, and in a 997 Cs race car after that. Glad to see it is catching on. I loved it and found it worked great on the track. Its a great product.

Installed mine today, what a riot! This thing is so much fun. Messing with the gain and delay let's you really dial it in to your liking / mood / whatever. Totally different than a stock blipper. 2 thumbs up!
