I ordered a QuickJack 5000SLX and need to return it because it does not work with an older car - the reason I bought it. It works great with the 997.

I can return it but I wonder if someone local would be interested in it. The unit is brand new delivered to me this past Wed, is fully assembled, works great and is available for pick up in the South SF Bay Area. They cost new $1340 + tax (about $1450 total). It is available for $1250, a $200 savings, and readily assembled.

PM me if interested.

Will it work on a 993? What older car does it not work on?

PM sent.

In a 993 it seems that the best fit is transversally mounted - See HERE.

It's a powered hydraulic lift with 2 separate platforms - see description HERE.

Fully assembled 2 days ago. Assembly is quite involved. Whoever buys this unit saves that step. Ready to go.

F U for not living in Tacoma, WA!! I've been eyeing getting one of these and was hoping for a sale. This would have been perfect.

QJ just released a shorter version of the 5000slx that is designed to work on 993s. Is the that one?

This is a brand new 5000SLX. It is what Ranger sells now.

It should work fine on a 993 which has factory defined lift points.

Too bad it is not 7000slx. I would need to lift both Cayenne and 991. Good luck with sale!

A 5000SLX is perfectly fine for a Cayenne. Its rating is actually lifting power, which at 5000lb is fine for a Cayenne, and in addition holding power is much higher than that.
