When those Frog weirdos get it right, it's really right _or_ Gallic Design Triumphs Again.
Just my opinion.
'Course, my first car was an ID16.

The Panamera Sport Truismo Concept is the right choice and is supposedly making it's way to the states:http://jalopnik.com/porsche-will-bri...ica-1774218807 Also, shouldn't this be here: https://rennlist.com/forums/panamera-167/ T

I'm a staunch defender of the idea that automotive beauty (or the lack thereof) is solely in the eyes of the beholder.
I think the first generation Panamera is stunningly beautiful in real life, when seen in 3 dimensions.
It does not lend itself, again solely my opinion, to 2D renderings, regardless of the angle of the photograph.

2D, 3D, whateva. Even the CEO of Porsche states the previous gen Pano's could have been better and I agree. More here:http://www.businessinsider.com/porsc...s-ugly-2014-10

Hey Tony, just to show you how design-challenged I am, I think the Sport Turismo looks like a squashed Cayenne ! LOL ! ! ! !
One of the biggest "problems" with Porsche design is the iconic 911. It's just so timeless and perfect... everything is somehow held to that one benchmark at one time or another. Heck, I even find myself endlessly comparing 911s to other 911s . Talk about hopeless ! !
All in fun, and still a great hobby...
Cheers,
Dan

Actually, I think a lot of the newer German cars are starting to have Citrœn like forms. Especially some of the new Audis and Mercedes look like re-incarnated DS!
This model shown above does not particularly impress me. However, the French often do impress for their engineering prowess given the much fewer resources they have than we Americans have.
