A month ago I put the car in park, ignition on, ran into town hall and when I got back got the Hybrid system failure. Porsche had the car for a week and did not have a clue.
It has been working since but now, no matter how I charge it, I only get 8 miles?? Its going back to the dealer next week.
Also, I was traveling earlier this week, the car had 8 miles of range when I parked it and the next morning it had 3 ? So, my guess is a short somewhere in tje high voltage battery.

that sounds more like a bad cell, but hopefully it's nothing too bad, good luck
Just got my second hand first Panamera e-hybrid and after being in e-charge for a while, I parked at home and I got this error message too. The front fan started going wild like it was overheating.

Got the e-Hybrid for over 6 months and put 4000miles on it. Have no problem with it until 3 days ago I went in to start my car and the car won't start up and it display a hybrid failure icon and say "Park Vehicle Safely" and the car won't start up. Anyone found this issue?
we had the same message at 30,000 miles, two dealers have had the car for a total of 9 weeks.
after 9 weeks we finally got an answer, high voltage battery cooling system leak, damaged the high voltage battery.
waiting porsche Germany to authorize replacement.
By the way, the system has two types of warning one will say in yellow: safe to drive. You are ok to drive. In red, park safely means do not drive the car, stop get out and call a tow truck.
Hi. New to this forum. Just bought my 1st panamera 2015 se hybrid. Love the drive. Apart from that it's just been a month and the car won't start. Wife told me that my 5yr was sitting in the car with ignition on and now it's showing hybrid sign with "Park vehicle safely. Image attached. All functions are working. The boot won't close now. Feels like the 12v battery has also drained while attempting to start.
I don't have the EV charger, im trying to borrow one to check if it will fix after the hybrid battery gets some juice. Any help from members is appreciated.
If your 12v battery is drained, even if HV is fully charged, you will get all sorts of codes. You need to fully charge the 12v battery before anything else. The hybrid charger does not charge the 12v battery (in trunk).

I don't understand this - the HV battery does charge the 12V battery, so why wouldn't charging the HV battery (indirectly) solve his problem? Unless the 12V is just dead...
Orca,I think you are right, but I've also been exploring that same question with my '16 pseh when i got a low battery warning while using the piwis last weekend. It will be good to know the final answer to this.
looking through the manuals, and everything that i can find online, it appears to me that the high voltage battery does charge the 12v battery, but only when the car is completely started in electric mode (i.e. if you put it into gear, it would drive). It appears that if the ignition is only 'on' (i.e. not driveable), such as when using the piwis, the 12v battery will be drained...
