I agree, the Aero/GTS/993 mirror design was one of the best looking mirrors ever.

A PANAMERA COUP HAS LOTS OF ADVANTAGES IN THE TOURING CLASS WHICH PORSCHE NEVER HAD A TRUE ONE. WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT COMPETITION WITH THE CALIFORNIA AND THE VANTAGEV8; FAST ON STRAIGHTS, LOOKS GOOD WITH TOP DOWN, HANDLES LIKE A SUB-PAR SPORTS CAR BUT HEY, IT WILL MOVE UNITS RIGHT?

Say those are for older gentlemen and smaller more precise 911s for rest of us. Good marketing plan. I don't see many 65+ wanting something as focused as a 911. My father in law is getting an aston for its ride and conservative (in his eyes) styling.

Been a while, but this cropped up on the 928 forum today (thanks Nicole!).

The link came from Autoblog.. but its up on Porsche COnsulting's site:

Here's the autoblog link/article (not saying much new, but hey, this thread is for rumours )

This latest sketch looks similar to the Autospies pic posted earlier in this thread:

The window extension behind the door, headlights and more match up. Could the autospies one be a design rendering resulting from the sketch?

Is this an Enzo...?? new to me..

http://www.luanpa.net/porsche-paname...door-gt-coupe/

Claims to be "sketches from Porsche" - but who knows more on this...

I prefered the rear treatment that was more refined - like an aston - this seems a bit brutal at the back - like a cross between a track inspired lotus and an R8. The rear seems very truncated for this size platform... meanwhile the front & sides seem very busy for a Porsche... reminds me of a nissan with a body kit...
