There will be more posts like the OP's. Hell, even the roar about the Cayenne has calmed way down over the last few years.

I don't doubt that it is a nice car. It damn well better be for $100k. It's just not much of a Porsche.

I've seen it. Back end = J Lo
Cayenne first gen was a POS, why would this be any different?
What's the price on that one with all the goodies? Gotta be 6 figures. Are there enough posers left with that kind of cash? I'd buy one of the competing cars for less money.
If it bombs, they'll blame it on Weedking.

I'd NEVER buy one in the first year or two... can you say Cayenne?? Our late '04 Cayenne was reasonably troublefree but all you have to do is hang around the Cayenne forum to learn about the alpha and beta year Cayennes...

Now how many years of healthcare for an illegal alien would pay for a fully decked out 4CS??? (sorry guess that belongs on the Pollitics forum...)

So, let me get this straight. Porsche sent one of the first 2 Panameras to hit the U.S. to . . . Suwanee, GA, pop. 8725?? Why not Mayberry RFD?
Well, in any case, I'm not a cynic about this car. There's no reason Porsche shouldn't have a sedan (or an SUV). I really like what I've seen so far, just from pictures.
I envy you getting to experience it in the flesh. I'm sure I'm going to be seeing lots of them here in metro L.A, pop. 12.9 million.

I'm sure it is a great performer. My main objection is the awful looking rear, though the front looks great. With the Cayenne I loved the rear but the front ruins everything. Why can't they just bring out a beautiful car?
