Default Well...I take back all that I have said about the Panamera......WOW!

Hey folks...

I just got a little extra special treat tonight. A friend of mine's brother-in-law works for PCNA. He brought over the 2nd Panamera to hit our shores. And...I just got a ride in it. I take back EVERYTHING I have ever said negative about this car. Wow....just WOWOWOWOW.

Pictures have not done this car justice whatsoever. In person, the car (in the proper color) is simply stunning. The interior is outstanding in every respect. If you are looking for a touring sedan, do no pass up a chance to at least take one of these for a test drive.

This particular example was a Panamera 4S. This car is also completely loaded with just about every toy and gadget imaginable. From launch control (yes, we played with it....a couple times) to the carbon ceramic brakes. The grip is absolutely spectacular. I could not keep from giggling like a boy on his first go-kart ride.

Wow. .....just, Wow. Well done Porsche.

Lastly - if you are looking to buy one, make very damn sure you get the 20" wheels with the sport package and sport exhaust.....good God what a sound.

One undisputable fact is this:

now 928 owners can call another Porsche car "the fat/heavy one".

Yeah, the 997.

Hey Chad! You had that thing in the driveway and not one phone call? Damn man, I would have been flying over there. We could compare V8 sound.

I asked about a manual, but they are not bringing any over the pond. But you know what...doesn't matter. The launch control was unreal. He buried the go pedal and left off the brake. POW!! It was like be shot out of a cannon. The shifting was so wickedly fast, I was in awe.

I recommending not judging until you have experienced it for yourself. I too was a non-believer. Until this evening...that is.

Whats the little pod on top of the dash? I like the interior all but the pockets on the backs of the seats. Looks a hair cheap. Other than that it looks good.

Sport chrono. It adds hp just like fartcan exhaust.

And those pockets on the seats do look like crap.
