Android Auto connection issues

Default Android Auto connection issues
I'm loving the seamless connection with Android Auto. What's interesting is turn by turn navigation directions show up next to my speedometer but doesn't show up with car play. However I do notice that when I'm playing music I occasionally get audio breaks or skips while listening to music on Spotify. Eventually it happens so much that AA fully disconnects and then reconnects. Anyone else having these issues with AA? I'm using wireless AA...

Dumb question maybe, but what year(s) support wireless Android Auto? My 2018 works with a wired connection only, AFAIK. But the performance is pretty much flawless; no audio issues ever.

I'm not sure what years but mine is a 25 e-hybrid...

My 21MY has wireless CarPlay, so assume would be the same for AA

I'm just trying to understand why audio goes in and out, or lags. Very odd. I never have this problem with bluetooth audio on other devices. Wonder if it's an issue with the wifi connection or the bt connection once AA starts running.

I have some strange things happen on mine too. When I connect via PCM and Bluetooth it recognises the phone and logs me into my Porsche ID. When I use device manager and switch to CarPlay, which switches to wifi, it then logs me out of my Porsche ID. When I switch out of CarPlay and back to PCM, it logs back in to my Porsche ID - real pain!

Any ideas?

You would think for a car this expensive they would figure this out.

After 3 years of my wireless car play working great with my iPhone all a sudden it quit working. Anyone else having a problem with wireless Car Play and the latest iOS?

I am running latest iOS 18.3.2 and no new issues with ACP other than the Porsche ID issue I mentioned above, but I have had that since I got the car in December, so not new.

yeah i should find a way to record it so I can show it to porshce. Not sure why audio skips, my phone is always on silent mode. It's quiet annoying.
