Hello everyone, My car: WP0ZZZ97ZGL025581 Panamera 970 GS12 model (2015) 3.0 DIESEL 300HP
Since yesterday, me and my wife noticed a strange ''rubber'' smell (like when you buy some cheap chinese rubber product that has the strong chemical smell). The smell is only present when AC/Ventilation is on but almost none when it s on RECIRCULATING. I opened up the hood and nothing strange under there, also the smell is not present near the engine.
Does anyone have any clue about what could cause this strange smell. It s quite proeminent.
When removing the top cover those pesky grommets on the cover fastener fly off and lodge into the motor somewhere, near exhaust. I had to fish it out with super long pliers but it was stinking. Check the ac belt for wear, maybe it is off a little or pump is harder to turn and slipping.
