Door won't open from inside or outside...
So i have a 2013 970, ive recently came across some issues with my door saying it was open - when it was closed, which in turn didnt allow me to lock the car.
I stripped down the down to check the actuator and to see if i could see a the door switch. I cleaned it all out and put the door back together again.
I tried to lock the door, but all doors locked and the drivers side would open this went on for about 2 minutes then it locked with the others... but it stayed locked!! i can access the car from the passenger side so i tried to open the door from the inside latch - wouldnt work, i've tried unlocking and locking etc from keyfob, the from actual key into door handle and from interior lock and unlock buttons however nothing is working,
its simply just stayed locked. I have no idea what i can do to open the door to try and even remove the panels again to replace the actuator itself. Any suggestions how i can i open the door? Thanks!

tried the emergency key, tried the key fob, tried the locks inside the car, it locks and unlocks but the door just doesn’t seem to open what so ever. Got an appointment at Porsche tomorrow, see if they can get it unstuck and open. If so - bonus! If not - looks like I’ll have to order a new door and literally cut the other one off. Only positive is, is that I can enter the car from the other doors and drive, it’s just the convenience issues.. especially being 6’2” climbing across the passenger seat to the driving seat to get in and out
Look for a schematic of the lock mechanism and maybe you will see whats not working ? Possibly a harbor freight slim jim can grab the latch release ? That sure is a hassle , let us know the outcome .
I’ve pulled the inside lever cable and it clicks as if it unlocks, I’ve also prized the door slightly and put a rod down and could push and pull the lever itself on the actuator to no avail! Hopefully Porsche will know tomorrow and if so, I’ll ask how they did and post on here. I’m actually not too confident they will though, however.. the makers of the car must have some idea.
I had a similar situation with a rear door. Here's a cheaper solution that I am certain the dealer will not propose. You can remove the inner trim panel with the door closed. once that is removed, while you cannot remove the inner steel panel to access the lock, you can drill through it. I drilled a 1/2 hole through the panel into the lock mechanism. Then I was able to move the drill left and right until the lock mechanism gave way and the handle then worked to open the door. I replaced the actuator, and everything was good. I simply patched the hole with some metal duct tape. When the trim panel is installed, the hole is not visible.

Very much so! Think it’s deadlocked to be honest.

I just bought a Panamera 2011 rear passenger door won't open from inside or out. Not familiar with the car yet. But my lads are already annoyed 🤭
the guide to removing the door panel is in the stickies. There may be a way to feed power to the lock of the lock is ok and only the door module is damaged. The door module can be accessed with the door Panel removed. If the window works there is power to the module. You can jumper power from the main power in to the unlock wire. Wiring diagrams also in the stickies.
