do you know what the current best source for a piwis clone is? Need to do some work on a 2014 caymans s. no progragraming of any kind need, just basic stuff.

Hello, just read your post regarding your Piwis ll , coding water damaged modules.... If I may pick your brain, I acquired a PIWIS ll system from a private seller in Germany, it consists of a Panasonic Toughbook, Windows 7, 32 bit , a Samtec VCI box with cables. It was said to be used successfully on a 2010 Cayman. My issue is that I cannot get it to connect to my 2013 Panamera S. The system knows if the ignition switch is on and a low battery from the vehicle( I played with it for hours, hence draining the battery.) It shows a message "The model line could not be determined" Any ideas?
