Well, I am officially no longer a member here.

So far, this car is phenomenal, in every way. And I have to say, she sure is a looker!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped with build advice.

Looks amazing! Congrats!

Ps, just because yours already arrived doesn’t mean you can’t still stick around here. Am I right @orca15 ?

Welcome to the alumni crowd, especially welcome to the "not white black or grey" gang

She is a beauty!

Thank you, everyone!

I saw the e-mail notification that this thread had a reply, and got all excited, thinking another member had received theirs.
Where are all these cars?

@orca15, very happy to be part of that club. The rumors proved to be true, Papaya has been discontinued. It is still on the configurator, but you can’t order it. Hopefully Porsche will soon have some other fun colors for those who don’t mind being loud

What if it has the Bordeaux red interior In all seriousness though, I’ve always been a black on black fan, but wife told me to venture out with this one so while I didn’t go all out with a red, papaya, blue, etc., I thought chalk was a more unique color so perhaps I have one foot in and one foot out of the club…

I say it all the time “grey, beige, black and I would chalk and even silver, brown or tan are for Mom vans and SUV’s not sports cars.

I have always loved Sapphire Blue - a standard metallic color from several years back but it seems only available on the SUV’s or the Panamera 4 Hybrid executive with a chalk interior.

when I visited the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart there is a single Panamera on display and it is sapphire blue which is where I got the idea.

I fell in love when I rented a Papaya.
I then went to the dealer and saw this beauty, and that sealed the deal.

Hey Mmorgan -do you also have a sapphire blue Panamera in the works?

Great choice!

Oddly sapphire blue is not offered except on the Panamera and the Macon I believe.

this is the configurator mock-up- interior is chalk -

Back in the 991 911 generation, Sapphire Blue Metallic was used throughout the Porsche lineup, from Cayenne to Cayman. Oddly now only available in PTS for Panamera, Macan and Cayenne. The color also won the Porsche sponsored “Tournament of Colors” a few years back. Guess that explains why chumps like me are paying PTS prices for what should be a standard color.

Porsche of Naples was able to horse trade allocations with other dealers to get me a PTS slot in January. Fingers crossed.

I salute you - that is one pretty color - I know this is a "each his own" thing but I REALLY enjoy that freshly washed look at my Porsche, and the bright/special colors make it all the more enjoyable. Wife picked out a gray Jeep and when I wash it, it's just a different experience.
