@Tosa5 beautiful build! I don’t know about a “normal” family station wagon though, more like a bad a** one!
So my car is delayed again… when I first ordered it in late June, my V300 vehicle completion was planned and expected 9/24. Then in July, both dates changed to 9/17. Since then, planned date has stayed the same at 9/17, but expected date changed to 10/8 and now to 10/29

Sorry to hear that, SS22! I am expecting mine to be delayed also. Not just the build, but the shipping situation is very bad, as you know. The back-up of ships at the Long Beach port is delaying delivery of good off the ships by 3 weeks, I've read. Hang in there!
I saw your comment on doing the ceramic coating. Will the deal do that, or will you use another detail shop? What is the main benefit you are looking for? I agree with your comments about PPF. I'm going to have to steel myself for the inevitable dings and chips, so that I don't go crazy worrying about it, even though I will work hard to protect it.

I heard from the dealer over the weekend that our car should be here in 2 weeks so about a month sooner than expected.
This is going to be my wife's car so she picked the color and wheels (I got to pick everything else). She wanted a light color interior but I'm too messy and would likely put dark scuff marks all over. I wanted a RWD 'S' model but they don't sell that so we got a base model:
Aventurine Green Metallic
Standard interior in Agate Grey
Premium Package
Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way)
Window Trim High Gloss Black
Deletion of Model Designation
Sport Chrono Package
Sport Tailpipes in Black
Rear Axle Steering incl Power Steering Plus
21" Panamera Exclusive Design Sport Wheels Painted in High Gloss Black
Storage Package

That's going to be a great car 125shifter! I have always loved Adventurine Green - it looks different depending on the light, and is always interesting looking. I am getting Rear Axle Steering also. I can't wait to see how it feels. I had a 1990 Mercedes 300E years ago, and it had a 36' turning radius which was really useful for U-turns or parking. I think the standard Panamera radius is about 39' (and most cars are even worse), but the RAS gets it down to 36'. Will also be fun to experience the improvement in handling.

The dealer can get it done (through a third party, I assume) but I haven’t looked into how much they charge (likely a bit more than doing it through a shop directly). I’m on the fence as to doing it myself though. I watched some videos and it doesn’t look difficult (just need a good product and a few hours of dedication). Usually, you need to do pain protection before applying the ceramic but since the car will be brand new, that’s not necessary. My main goal with the ceramic is to protect the paint from the elements such as bird/bee poop, give the paint a beautiful shine, and make it easier to wash and keep the car clean.

Oh and I love that aventurine green too. It was on my short list but I hadn’t seen one in person so was a bit nervous to get it. It should be a beautiful and unique color though. Definitely post pics when you get it!

Well, jtbuy, you know I'm going to say that your car is beautiful, inside and outside. I have a neighbor who has a 911 in Night Blue and it's really fun to see how it changes as the sunlight changes. I have always wanted a tan interior, and it's interesting how most car companies don't offer that. The combo of this paint and this interior is exactly what I've wanted, (in addition to the amazing performance, of course). I love the versatility and 'one car that does everything' aspect of the Panamera. I'd love to hear about your experience taking delivery of your car, and if all of its parts are installed, or is there is some shortage that affected your car (hope not).

@jtbuy and @Tosa5 , good thing your Panameras are being built a couple months apart otherwise the factory workers would’ve been confused, wondering if someone double ordered on accident But in all seriousness, I’m so excited for you @jtbuy , hope you get it by this weekend!
@orca15 that’s commitment! Also, cool how you have all the license plates on your wall. I still need to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage but the delays have moved that project down on my priority list.

My 22 Panamera 4 arrived at the dealer on Wed after arriving in Davisville off the Bishu Highway last Tuesday. PPF on Monday, pickup next Wed. Looks great, no missing parts or sensors. Even has two keys👍. The night blue metallic looks so good! It will be delivered about 10 days before the original build plan. Very stoked!

That’s awesome! Congrats! The night blue metallic reminds me of the “carbon black metallic” M color I have on my F10. It’s a unique and beautiful color that slightly changes between black and navy based on the lighting. Enjoy it! What options did you get on it? Also, when had you ordered it? Amazing that you got it earlier than the original schedule.

tt - are those the 20" Turbo wheels? What tires came with her? She's beautiful...pretty good pick for a first Porsche! My first one was a '74 911 with vinyl seats, no AC, and roll up windows
