Default 2014 GTS eligibility for warranty purchase

Hi all,

Owned this beauty for only a year and exhaust note is just exhilarating, but I started worry that my aggressive driving style could lead to hefty repair bills.

I have read this forum for a while and from what I can tell aside from air suspensions issues these cars between 14-16 years are solid.

True?

Also, am I even eligible to obtain warranty lets say until I reach 100k, currently at 62k.

Thank you for your time in advance.

All air suspensions will fail eventually. Every single one made from any manufacturer. It's the price one pays for the ride. There are hundreds of aftermarket warranty companies that are more than willing to take your money, but you can't get one aftermarket from Porsche. The catch is finding one that will actually pay out reliably.

Appriciate your input.

Should I just go to Porsche dealer and get coverage from them hoping that It will be less of a hassle?

My guess that they will want at least 7k for 40k miles coverage.

thanks

AFAIK, you can't get a warranty from Porsche after you've purchased the car, and the Porsche warranty is only available on cars sold at a Porsche dealer.

Well did you buy a CPO? If you did you can extend the warranty as far as I know.

Unfortunately not a CPO. Will 3rd party still offer me coverage?

Goal is to reach 100k miles without serious repairs.

Yes, you can get a warranty that will cover the car. Shop around and do your research because some of the companies do not payout very well.

My cpo is expires on aug 31 for my 15 gts. I’m getting a 3rd party warranty from Patriot warranty. I got a one yr warranty from them for $1600 for 15k miles no deductible. They said they covered everything . I saw someone on cars and bid with their coverage for 8 yrs on their 2018 GT Panamera turbo. Good thing is that you can take this warranty to the dealership.

ps: I do not work for them. I’m just a new member on the forum.

I just purchased the Patriot Warranty Premier Elite policy, no deducible, for my '16 GTS, $2600 for 3 years or 36,000 miles. Now I keep my fingers crossed that they do what they say they will do!

Thank you. That price is actually not bad at all.
By any chance have you asked them if they would fix air suspension if it fails?

Since it is common knowledge that they will fail eventually on these cars, I wonder if they straight up telling people no.

Thank you for your reponse

I don't think that's right. I've heard other people on here extending their cpo.
