The marketing guy that came up with "piano black" name for generic black plastic trim is a true evil genius. People actually pay extra for this
I, too, have always thought that.
The GTS comes with black brushed aluminum trim, which, when I spec’d a 4S, was extra.
Imagine my surprise when I drove a GTS with only 1000 miles on it, which was equipped with piano black! The previous owner had actually selected it. Maybe he didn’t know the GTS already came with a more expensive trim? Could it be he or she preferred black plastic?
The piano black actually looks nice, but scratches so very easily. I don’t need trim paranoia.
Can anyone tell me where I can find wood trim packages for a 2017 Panamera? I checked with Suncoast, and they only have Paldao. This does not go with my car's interior. Ebay does not have any 971 packages.

@gtrmichael - yeah, if you see post #5 in this thread I commented that it seemed like the window of time for being able to order it was closing. However, when you said you checked with Suncoast, did you call and talk to someone, or just look online? I do recall their site didn't show me anything other than Paldao, and maybe Carbon Fiber when I started the process. However, when I spoke to someone in person they did say it was available via special order. You could also try Sunset:
I decided to select the brushed aluminum on my 2023 Panamera Hybrid Executive because I have had many luxury sedans with wood interior trim and I wanted a look that fit the high tech nature of this vehicle. The wood trim looks a little dated in my opinion.
