I recently purchased a 2018 Panamera 4 that came with 21 Exclusive design wheels in gloss black in almost new condition. Being an avid skier in the PNW, I purchased a set of 19 OEM wheels with GoodYear F1 Asymmetric 3 tires. I swapped out the 21s and ordered/installed Michelin Pilot Alpins for the 19s. I prefer to have a separate set of winter wheels/tires to make is easier to switch wheels twice a year and avoid damaging the wheels or tires by not just changing the tires. I listed my 21 wheels/tires on FB, was offered $3200 plus shipping. I would prefer the more comfortable ride of 19s year round but imagine the resale/trade-in value of my car later would be a bit more with the 21s.
Should I: A) Keep the 21s for summer tires and 19s for winter or B) Sell the 21s, buy another set of 19 wheels(about 2K on ebay after tax) to use as a summer set(still have the GoodYears) to go along with my winter set?
If you like the 19's then the only question is 2 sets of rims winter and summer or changing tyres. I would vote to have 2 sets of complete wheels so you can swap them yourself easily.
Keep. You sell or trade you’ll get dinged $$ for not having original wheels. As pointed out easier to have 2 sets of wheels to avoid changing tires, have winter and summer sets you can swap. Swapping tires more pia, requires taking to someone when you can just jack car and swap in your garage.

Thanks. That was my primary concern, how it affects the value. I plan on having two sets of wheels regardless.
I run the 19" Alpins in the winter and the car looks just fine with them. I have 20s for summer and truth be told, I'd have 19s there too but that's what came with the car and I don't want the hassle of selling the 20s. The roads here in metro NYC stink to the point where the sidewall on the 21s is too thin but you can pull it off here with careful driving and a good wheel restorer just in case.
