No - I didn't do any programming as I left my battery tender plugged in while I swapped the battery in the Napa car lot (electrical outlet available on the side of the building)

I didn't need any programming when I changed to the battery in my Cayenne GTS. I did keep a battery tender hooked up to the battery cables during the process just in case. Also no issues when I replaced the battery in my 2011 TTS with an AGM battery. Windows reprogramed when I rolled up and down (the slight decrease in window height when you open the door).

Did learn something new. My old battery charger did not recharge the AGM battery when I unfortunately let it run down. Needed a newer charger with specific AGM capability (I guess it varies the current or something to trick the battery into taking a full charge).
