Default 2010 Turbo battery size

Need to change my battery - what brand and size/voltage should I get?

My local Napa store has a battery in stock exact size fit for $165 - I'll probably get one soon as mine appears to be original.

I went to my local Napa store over the weekend and picked up a new battery - installed it in the lot w/ my battery tender plugged in to save all settings. Perfect fit and the car starts up w/ much greater enthusiasm. Existing battery was over 8 years old so no surprise it needed to be replaced.

This one seems to have more cold cranking power and is at lower cost:

Porsche calls for AGM don’t know if that makes a difference. With all the computers I went with AGM. Size is H8
From Autozone which often has sales or coupons. I paid $220 think its about $190 now. It’s 60lbs so get help as lifting it in is awkward.

My battery was 9 years old (date stamp on top of terminal post) new battery cured all sorts of warning lights related to PSM even though old battery tested ok.
There is a QR and numerical code on the side of the battery that tells car brain how much charge to feed the battery. Have read that failure to enter code can result in overcharging and shorter battery life. Who knows. I took a picture of the code and number and my mechanic said he was able to use it to reset the charging function.

interesting info on the charging code Fulwild, hadn't heard anything about that - something to keep an eye open for.

skiracer: Did you do any programming as Fulwild suggested?
Cheers
