Has anyone figured out how to set auto stop to permanent off on 2016 and later cars? Hard to believe no tuner has not come up with a solution....

Yes, I had auto-engine-stop turned off in my 2015 Panamera 4, but with my 2018 Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, it's not an issue because I want the electric working when I come to a stop or am moving slowly, most of the time. I.e., with the E-Hybrid, when I start to move, I move silently (no engine), and that's how I want it. Only upon fast acceleration or at high speed (or when the battery level is too low) do I want the engine on. But it sounds like the new-gen 2018 gas-only Panameras don't allow one to turn off the auto-start/stop? If that's the case, I would not buy one, for sure; I'd get an older model.

In a 2018 I set if to off, then stored that as a setting for individual mode, then merely move to individual mode after starting the car. Not perfect but it is easy.

i can't stand that stupid ****. what a joke that function is. my wife's volvo has to be turned off EVERY SINGLE time you start the car. total pain. my '13 Pan has been disabled since i got the car and so glad it doesn't default to ON.
