It's home.

Brought her home this evening. Already dark, so no photos yet.

When all was said and done, dealer made me a great deal and all is right with the world.

Came home at night. Will take photos tomorrow in daylight and try to post them. I've never had much luck posting photos, but I'll give it a try.

CONGRATULATIONS on getting your car - can't wait to see pictures. My Turbo ST is still on the dock in Rhode Island where it has been sitting out in salt air, blizzards, two bomb cyclones and three Nor'easters for four months. One would imagine that Porsche could get its act together within the 10 days since CARB certification to transport it to the dealer 120 miles inland.i REALLY wish there were another car I wanted. Porsche has handled this VERY badly. I might just cancel and wait until something else comes along...

I'm a technotard - couldn't figure out how to include photo with text in the same post.

The car is chalk, black interior. PDCC, RWS, sport chrono, 21" sport design wheels in gloss black, carbon fiber interior pkg, adaptive sport seats, premium plus pkg, LCA, LED matrix headlights, sport pkg, Bose, misc odds and ends.

And speaking of technotard - it will be at least weeks, if not months, before I figure out all the controls. PCM, Car connect, connect plus, Wi-Fi - Good Grief. I need to go find a 14 year old kid to explain it all to me!

Congratulations!! Very similar to my E-Hybrid except I have the door handles also in black. Curious how your car paint finish looks?? Mine has been sitting since September but supposedly they are maintaining them at the port.

I didn't scrutinize the paint, but I did not spot any obvious problems. I suspect the dock in San Diego is a more benign environment than many other ports around the USA. I saw the car an hour after it arrived at the dealer. It was dirty enough that it could not have gotten that way on the short drive from San Diego - it had to have been ignored outdoors for a period of time to get that dirty. It cleaned up well enough, however.

Mine will also be an E-H with the same exterior color/wheel combo. Love it how on different pics it goes from white to almost a medium beige. I explain to friends about my purchase, and they often can’t understand... “you’re gonna spend how much? On a BEIGE car?” And I have to simply explain that pictures don’t do this color justice. Damn, I wished I could spec it with the red calipers. Instead it will be either black or neon green. Which did you go with, SLefty?
