Look forward to real world report.

I found the M3 to be sedate, and low on power, compared to the QV. Regardless, I wouldn't buy either new.

I've been offered a QV at MSRP. I'd rather wait, and pick one up for 50k with some miles next year.
I found original F80 numb and not particularity engaging. New M3 with Competition Pakg sounds like it's addressed much of what bugged me and 4/10ths of a gap over a 2:00 minute lap is irrelevant to me in a street car.

No doubt though that the Alfa has them all beat on looks inside and out.

Really like their episodes.
Roadkill on MotorTrend is also a jewel. The same thing there: The guys got something. Really love Roadkill ( even though mostly it is cars that I'm not that interested in).

To be honest the Top Gear format: A guy driving a car fast down a straight line while screaming something rehearsed is not that interesting 2017.

Ooops, sorry for rant and OT.
Reasonable rant. Agree on motortrend guys and top gear format.

Just wanted him to know that he wasn't alone in his thoughts on the subject.

PS: that is not the Alfa shop, the car is not yet prepared for delivery and is just sitting in their garage. Just a fast first contact nothing more...

Hope they don't screw the front license plate bracket on at the factory for export.

For sure nice looking car but not worth the mark up! Plus this thing sounds as bad as a M3!

Beautiful car, especially in the QV version.

Good comparison of Alfa, BMW and Merc in latest Road & Track. More nuanced than MT. Still working my way through to conclusion.
