Good point! My first (only) Alfa was red as well. Completes the experience. Makes a great first impression.

Thanks Alex. Yes I went with the LWB. Red calipers (steel brakes), black interior red stitch...

Watching closely. They spent a TON of money on those super bowl ads.

oh and let me add, this car starts in the high $30's and as tested is low $70's. That's a big range of product line. Reminds me of the 3 series.

Isn't that the exact same range as the BMW 3 series and the Audi A4 series?. It could be that the four-cylinder Alfa is priced low to compete in that market… But the qualdrifoglio seems to be right in the sweet spot

No, as I recall mid-high 80s is pretty much maxed out even with CCB option. There are (shockingly) some dealers pushing them that high with markups.

New M3 with comp-pack is no joke. Stage 1 tune and it goes to 520/520.

I just watched it.
Alfa built something very interesting.
If Tony is not needed to Fix it Again all the time, it look like a winner to me!

I'm in the market for an M3 to replace my 550. Intrigued after watching some reviews, etc, I called my local (Atlanta) Alpha dealer. They said that they ave 2 both sold and I could not come see them because they have been in the shop for a while. THIS is what I'd be afraid of with this car. Great to see a car to really challenge the king (M3) but I feel the reliability will be poor, in comparison.
Still interested to see how these cars do, long term.

Im really liking these Motor Trend reviews lately. Evo seems to be losing its touch whilst the US publications are coming into a Renaissance IMO!

Im all over the main Alfa forms, plenty of card delivered now including USA and no significant issues I have read about. To me its a winner, partly because its not German!

I am asking myself why Randy decided to use the Giulia in Drive in this head to head vs the manual shifted M3. Sure something strange for such a pilot and considering that Giulia has a very good automatic but still not good as the Bmw DKG .So? to help the Giulia or to help the M3?

I agree with the MT guys about fixed shift paddles FTW, but would like to know more about what they don't like about the Alfa's low speed brake by wire feel.
