If I could get an R at msrp I would have got that and added rear seats. Have two kids.

R will likely hold value better but the CF wheels would only be wall art for me. I always buy extra wheels and tires for track.

Gt350 has way more character than m3/m4 and does very well on track even tho it's a bit chubby.
Just to check - all the 17s have the track pack standard, right?

Correct.... basically all MY2017 and MY2018 will have standard coolers (oil, trans, diff) as found in all the R's and prior Track Pack cars. In addition, GT350s produced in approx Feb 2017 to present now have canister/cartridge-type oil filters instead of the previous spin-type oil filters.

LOL. It certainly makes for a nice marriage in the garage, but not so sure about things inside the house. I'm lucky that after buying the car I wasn't forced to sleep in the garage...

Does anyone have more info on the oil filter type update?

In love with my R. For some of us, it's the best car we were comfortable buying. Sure, if a GT3RS was in my budget, it would be on my radar....but this car has definitely decreased the desire some.

Agreed. I like a little variety this car is affordable enough that it allows me to comfortably keep my Porsche and Jag and not really think about it. The return on money is unbeatable.

Speaking of oil filters - all GT350 owners will be receiving an additional package soon from Ford Performance, class act!

I wish I could find that many GT350's in one place where I live, a symphony.

Maybe we can get Farmer, you and me to hook up. Most fun Road in Florida is Sebring.
I'll be there with PCS the 13th of May with mine.

My wife will be running it in the green group. So double stinting the car. First time she tracks the Shelby. Have done two days in the 996gt3 before.

There will be at least one 350 in Sebring a week later, the 20th with PBOC / PCA.

Wish I could go. Will be back in Europe the 19th. Staying at AMG center in Brooklands outside London so hopefully burn some of their tires for a couple of hours.

I'm shooting for 2017 Track Guys Camp Steeda at Sebring on MMday weekend... every year so far it's been a good event. Enjoyed it the past couple of years.
