Tech Pack coolers, magnaride, and aero are standard. The Tech Pack large sync 3 infotainment system is an additional option.

You can no longer get a car without magnaride or coolers.

It did a 2:51.8. LL uses the full grand course.

Stuntman: Ok. Agree. Then it's a fail as a benchmark of performance and comparision. At least the gum was good.

Did 2016 Tech Packs all have Magnaride or was it an option? My neighbor just got one.

The only cars w.o magnaride are the rare base models. No magnaride, no sync 3 infotainment, no aero, no coolers.

So it looks like there are several GT350 in South Florida, I am planning on finishing my break in at PBIR, already been AutoX, Sept 27 with Track Night in America.

I have a couple of buddies going from Vero, C7Z51, STI and maybe a new C7 Grand Sport. Anybody else in for a few sessions of fun.

My chin spoiler was not properly dealer installed so I got 1.5 laps and then meatballed. There are plastic tabs and screws that secure it and mine didn't get screwed together properly. Felt great for that warm up lap!

That is too bad! is there something special about this installation that I need to pass along, or just basic installation error by a technician?

Also, did you install a cage in your car? My R should be here soon and I will be installing a cage in it shortly after I get there.

Not sure if mentioned. There was also the motor trend test with Randy Pobst driving at Laguna

1:37.66 for the M3 GT3
1:36:06 For the 350R

I'll be there also but I will bring my uber car... the Focus RS, not the 350.

When you register use the code "summerfinale" to get $25 off... in case you haven't yet .

Dealers are insane on this car... Been trying to get one without getting raped and it's difficult. In the Denver area all the dealers buy up other dealer cars out of state at full MSRP plus shipping cost so they want at least 10K over. Looking for a 2017 with Recaro, thought I had the deal done yesterday and the dealer wouldn't agree to a reasonable price.

Been looking all over, absolutely hate the out of state DMV purchase paperwork though.

yeah just make sure that they are not solely relying on the plastic tabs to set the middle of the bumper in place.

Just took delivery of my 350R couple days ago. After some very limited mileage I can say it's fantastic value. The sound is unreal and without drone. The shifter vibrates and feels intimately connected to the car (unlike my 991GTS). Transmission throws are very short. With the Sync 3, the system is very easy to use and the in-gauge display gives plenty of parameters to make a geek happy.

There are multiple settings for suspension and steering feel which is interesting. There is also a heads up shift light setup which I have yet to try out.

So far, very fun and engaging car.

Glad you gentlemen are enjoying your GT350/R's. Great observation on the gearbox - coming from a 997 6 speed (which I still think is one of the best gear boxes in the business) the GT350 Tremec is brilliant - totally connected, great throws. MGW makes a great short throw if you require that but out of the box it is indeed very good. Once you get past the 100/1000 mile break in procedure i'm interested to hear what you think of that sound when shifting at 8,250 rpm - a vicious crack resonates which each high rpm shift - nothing like it.

I also like that Ford offers very good 5 year and 8 year warranty plans for this car. Track it for years with no worries.
