BMW: 3 Series, E90 or hold out for F30?

BMW: 3 Series, E90 or hold out for F30?
I had an early E90 330xi - and loved everything but the styling. It was fully loaded and a great car to drive and be in.
I'm bored of my '04 A4 and am tempted by the low lease rates (1.9%) on the last of the E90 3 series. I'd go for a 328Xi and fully load it up again.
However - the F30 series is looking pretty sexy - but isn't available till the Spring and I don't really drive these cars much in the summer - so I'd have to keep the A4 for another year.
Anyone have any insight into the new F30 or the pros and cons of going with a first year of a new platform? I have a 50/50 experience - the E90 was near flawless - my wife's early gen Mazda 3 has been trouble with terrible rust).

i used to have a 335i coupe.
i would wait, as a daily driver i think the advantages of the new engines (turbo four which is currently found in the X1) would be a pretty good advantage. i have a friend with an X1 and it's been a good experience so far. granted, the low lease rates won't be available for a new model - so if you're top consideration is financial, i would go for the current deals.

I DO love the notion of a turbo 4 - the A4 is great on gas and "okay" on power - but you're right - not gonna get great rates on the new ones and for a car that sits for 6 mos of the year - cheaper is better. You might just have solved my issue...
Thanks!

PS. Wish there was a "delete thread" option!

I say hold out for the F30... The E90 will age pretty quick once the F hits the
streets. And you'll be stuck leasing the previous generation.
Agreed that the 4 cylinder turbo in the X1 is amazing! I did the BMW XDrive
event in the spring and couldn't get over how smooth the engine felt ~ it's no
3 litre inline 6, but pretty close!
