Doesn't look like a Viper.

Design influence of Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari. Still Viper like look with huge style improvement. Italian designers make the world look better.

when they will have to revisit design to actually produce that 'new' viper from available old left-over parts at the plant all this will go away anyway.

+1. The style is certainly there. The headlights in fact look VERY similar to the Ferrari Italia 458 as well as the rear hind quarters.

Two questions I have is what engine will they put in the car and 2. how will the Viper faithful react to this kind of styling?

I read an article recently that it will be the same motor they have been running with a hp bump.

You can buy one now and stick on your own SNAKE logo. This was supposed to be the next Viper and looks more like a Viper than the above.

Definitely a big Ferrari influence in this car. The snout and grille still connect it to previous generation Vipers IMHO.

I don't agree.

The viper should never be a "pretty car". It can only exist as brute. Brutish performace and brutish looks. Flowing lines.. to hell with them.

If the viper looks like "nice car" why bother. Might as we buy a corvette then.
