It wasn’t so much that it got moved. It was the comments from our moderator. Actually I’m thankful for the laughs that provided. First “ I could’ve bought any car that I wanted“. Really? Any car? Koenigsegg? Get real bro. “My 718 Spyder sounds better”. Really bro? It sounds better than the last naturally aspirated Ferrari v-8 that has a 9000 rpm redline. Ok dude.

What I said was "I could buy just about any car..." - I did not say every car and no, there are many I cannot afford to buy but for the most part, I have a relatively high budget. My point was that the Spyder is a great car regardless of the cost. Enjoy your new car, and you can leave now - I am sure you can find forums that are associated with your new brand.
I also take issue with you telling me what my new brand is. I’ve owned a great many Porsche’s over the last 20 years and I’ll probably own many more in the future.

Of course it is a great car, that is why I owned a GT4 because it is a great car. I am simply questioning why you would open a sentence with “I can afford any car I want”. I am also questioning why you felt the need to tell me that your car sounds better. That is all.

2seats,
I might have missed it ???
Did you post what the 458 cost ???
I'm not asking about your trade as that might hurt it's resale at the Ferrari Dealer.
I'm asking what was the asking price of the Ferrari 458 before any negotiations ???
Do you by chance have the Window-Sticker that you can post for us ???
Terry

It seems like you might be leaving this Rennlist.com website soon.
Do you mind sharing the above cost about the 458 Ferrari with us ???
I'm not asking you to post anything confidential about your personal finances.
Just the asking price of the 458 as it was listed for sale.
I just received a new DuPont Registry and the few and I do mean few 458s listed were Way-way up in the clouds for asking prices.

Hi Terry. I limited my search to Ferrari certified from a Ferrari dealership because I wanted the 2 year warranty and the ability to buy new F cars from the factory. I would suggest using this search tool below. You will see the range is 200-270. I was slightly below the middle of the range but I liked the car. It was serviced exclusively at the dealer and had all the proof. The interior also showed no wear.

Hey OP, congrats on the car and I’m glad you are enjoying 458 life! TDF blue is the best but I’m highly bias. I wouldn’t even compare it to a GT4. Completely different cars. My F430 is not even comparable to my Cayman R. I love both. Totally different cars. Don’t worry about some of these posts, some clearly have no idea what they are talking about and are in a sad state. I wish them the best. You on the other hand, enjoy my friend, the 458 is one of the greatest cars ever made. Only time will continue to prove this. Additionally, don’t worry about warranty. They are solid cars (20K+ miles driven on the 458, solid). Just got back from a 250 mile trip with my buddies. Pics to make everyone smile
Your thoughts echo mine so far. I think it’s one of the best Ferraris ever made. I literally drove it for 5 hours straight yesterday.
Thank you for sharing.

Are you going to share any further thoughts on your Ferrari 458 with us poor Porsche owners
You've had it awhile now so it would be interested to read what your thoughts are currently ???

Great car. Great naturally aspirated engine. It’s really a joy to drive. I have been taking it on 2-hour drives almost every day. I’m not going to be one of those Ferrari owners that doesn’t drive their car.

As I recall I think you mentioned you do have the Ferrari Extended 2-Year Warranty.
I'm glad your actually driving your 458 and it's not just sitting on Display in your Garage.
If you have now joined a Ferrari Website how about sharing a link here I think there are several of us Rennlist members that would enjoy reading your posts on the Ferrari Website.
Stay Safe buddy,
Terry a poor Porsche GT4 guy

I'm late to this discussion. Congrats on the 458, man! That is EXACTLY one of the two Ferraris I'd love to own (the other one being the 812 Superfast). NA all the way.
Now, my question is, I wonder what sounds better, my R8 or your 458. I'd love to have a sound contest
